Discovered in the trade magazine A la Carte
The 2025 vintage delights Grüner Veltliner enthusiasts. Fruity, spicy Veltliners with moderate alcohol levels and lively acidity impressed in the first tastings of the current year. We are pleased to share the following ratings from the trade magazine A la Carte:

A short getaway to the wine town of Poysdorf
Romantic wine cellar lanes, numerous cycling routes set amidst rolling hills, an 18-hole golf course, the VinoVersum exhibition, and much more await you on a short trip to Poysdorf. Details about tourist offerings, accommodation, and current events can be found at www.vinoversum.at.
By the way, Poysdorf is located just a 30-minute drive north of Vienna, not far from the Czech border. A tour to the neighboring wine region of South Moravia, including the Liechtenstein castles of Valtice and Lednice, is also highly recommended.
Open Cellar
For more than 30 years, the “Open Cellar” has been a tradition in Poysdorf. From June to September, a different winemaker opens their winery each week for wine tastings—a popular meeting place for both guests and locals.
From June 15 to 21, daily from 4 p.m., we look forward to your visit! More than 20 wines from the current range will be available for tasting. Alongside the wines, we offer a selection of homemade Heurigen specialties for a light bite.
We look forward to welcoming you and invite you to taste, linger and enjoy! Table reservations recommended.
From our vineyards
It’s starting again! Nature is awakening and everything is slowly turning green. For us winemakers, there is plenty to do before the first buds begin to sprout. Here’s our to-do list from the past few weeks in the vineyard:
- Pruning young vines
- Shredding the cuttings after pruning
- Checking, tightening, and renewing trellis wires and posts
- Tying the shoots to the wire framework
- Soil cultivation around the vine trunks
- Soil cultivation in every second row of the vineyard
- Mating disruption of grapevine moths using pheromones
- Measures against wildlife browsing (hares and deer feel very much at home here)
- Replanting – replacing old, damaged vines with young ones
Now we’re hoping for a beautiful spring—without extreme weather surprises or frost!

Wir sind unglaublich stolz auf ihren Fleiß, ihre Ausdauer und die vielen Erfahrungen, die sie auf diesem Weg sammeln durfte.
